Presentation of the partner:
The Regional Museum of Murska Sobota is the main regional institution with the mandate of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Slovenia and its funding, and it carries out the public service protection of movable cultural heritage in the twenty seven municipalities of Pomurje. Its work is to create a complex museum which includes: keeping records, collecting, researching, documenting, preserving, conserving/protecting, educating and different forms of material and spiritual cultural heritage presentation, which have from the first settlement to the present day created the inhabitants of this region.

Project role of the partner:
The Regional Museum of Murska Sobota  will, with its own trained personnel, mostly contribute to the fact that all project activities will be conducted on a professional basis, to continually evaluate them and offer technical assistance to all project partners. It will actively cooperate with the Savaria Múzeum in joint field investigations of cross-border regions and implementation of applied studies, which will form the basis for making policy directives of the Handicraft Academy. The Regional Museum of Murska Sobota will provide technical supervision over the construction of all the promotional products of the project.
